Personal Story

My journey into holistic health began two years ago after struggling with health issues for over a decade. As a child and teenager, I dealt with severe allergies that often left me feeling unwell. At 15, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), which brought its own challenges. Uncontrolled PCOS, along with hormonal pills, caused a range of mental and physical issues—extreme fatigue, mood swings, and weight gain. Despite my symptoms, doctors often blamed my issues on ‘laziness’, making the journey even harder. Conventional doctors frequently dismissed my concerns, offering pills that masked my symptoms without addressing their root causes.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I faced yet another hurdle when a severe infection damaged my lungs and ribs. 3 ribs were dislocated— 2 were broken, and one had multiple fractures. It took months for me to recover enough to care for myself, and over a year to feel somewhat ‘normal’ again. During this time, I gained around 20 kg and was diagnosed with asthma and pressure imbalances in my right ear. This difficult period reinforced my determination to change my approach to health. Tired of feeling unwell and unheard, I decided to take control of my health, marking the start of my holistic health journey.

In my first year of recovery, I adopted a histamine intolerance elimination diet to combat inflammation and heal my body. After six weeks, I began reintroducing foods gradually, a process that took a full year. I also focused on improving my sleep, increasing physical activity, managing stress, and nurturing my mental and emotional well-being. I’m proud to say that I eventually stopped using all medications, including inhalers, and my quality of life has improved dramatically. (During this time, I was always under my doctor’s supervision. I strongly advise against stopping any medication without consulting your doctor.) Today, I know how to listen to my body and address its needs—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

When I'm not coaching, I immerse myself in various activities that enrich my life. Engaging in sports keeps me active and energized, while taking nature walks allows me to reconnect with the environment and find peace in the outdoors. Diamond painting is another passion of mine, as it combines creativity and mindfulness in a unique way.

Exploring new worlds and cultures is a constant source of inspiration for me. I enjoy reading books that transport me to different places and times, cooking diverse cuisines that reflect my interest in global flavors, and traveling to experience these cultures firsthand. Learning in all its forms is a valuable pursuit, and it fuels my desire to discover new perspectives and insights.

My personal transformation inspired me to help others on their own health journeys. Whether you're dealing with PCOS, allergies, or any other health challenges, I believe in empowering individuals to take control of their lives through holistic lifestyle changes. To further this mission, I became a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). With comprehensive training in nutrition, exercise science, stress management, and more, I am equipped to guide you on your path to wellness.

I’m also currently training to become a certified Yoga Teacher (200 hours), expanding my ability to support clients in both mind and body.
